BURBANK, Calif. – Winners of the 2013 StorErotica Awards were honored during a gala event July 14 during the semi-annual Adult Novelty Manufacturers Expo. Before a capacity crowd, 11 adult novelty sector companies and individuals received awards signifying excellence in the adult retail community.
Created by StorErotica Magazine, the StorErotica Awards are given annually to brick-and-mortar storefronts, distributors and manufacturers. This year represented the seventh ceremony and the third time StorErotica partnered with ANME to host the awards ceremony.
“After each ANME, it seems we come back confident in saying ‘that was the best award show ever,’” said StorErotica Assistant Editor Kristofer Kay. “Well, this year epitomized that notion. Not only was it our most well-attended gala, but the room itself had such a positive energy flowing through it.
“It’s an honor to know we can speak on behalf of retailers, and it is even more rewarding to honor so many of the vendors who are making a difference in our industry,” Kay added. “We’re grateful to all those who made the evening so special.”
Dr. Sadie Allison, author and publisher of the best-selling sex-help books Tickle His Pickle, TOYGASMS!, Ride ‘Em Cowgirl!, Tickle Your Fancy and Tickle My Tush served as mistress of ceremonies.
