PRAGUE – We hold this truth to be self-evident: Not all awards are created equal. Some are endowed by the industry with the inalienable honor of respect from one’s peers.
Now is the time to show that respect. Voting for the sixth annual YNOT Awards opened July 12 and will continue through Aug. 19. Five nominees in each of 33 categories await the industry’s verdict. In addition, this year begins a new tradition: Instead of one inductee into the Hall of Fame, YNOT will name two — one company and one individual.
“It’s always encouraging to see the number of industry insiders who enjoy having a stake in determining who provides the most outstanding products and services,” said YNOT Group LLC co-owner Jay Kopita. “More legitimate voters come to the polls every year, indicating the YNOT Awards are important to them. It’s an honor to have the industry’s faith.”
Members of the online adult industry with an activated YNOT ID may log-in to vote here. Others may register at YNOTID.com. All voters will be validated before they are allowed to cast a ballot, and ballots will be tallied in the good ol’ democratic way: one person, one vote, and all votes have the same weight. Call-center employees, sock puppets and anyone else who attempts to subvert the process will face a firing squad.
Winners and nominees alike will celebrate with a lavish ceremony Sept. 21 in Prague’s opulent National House of Vinohrady. Sponsors and attendees who have purchased seats or tables will be treated to sophisticated entertainment in the best viewing areas of the venue while enjoying top-shelf cocktails and a gourmet dinner. Everyone else is invited to enjoy the ceremony from free seating in the balcony, where a cash bar will be available.
Kopita said fewer than 150 seats remain for dinner, even at this early date. To claim one — or all 150, if you’re so inclined — email him or Skype LAJConsulting.
“We will no doubt surpass our attendance record of 400 this year,” he said. “These dinner seats in the best viewing areas will go quickly.”
As in previous years, the sixth-annual celebration will take place during The European Summit. Complimentary transportation will be provided to and from the awards show venue.
