SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Shhhhh. Don’t tell Apple, but people are looking at naughty pictures on their iPhones. Yup. It’s true.

And some of them are seeing it in three dimensions, thanks to Pink Visual’s spirit of innovation and Wazabee 3DeeShells.

The shells are the brainchild of German company Spatial View and are tailored specifically to fit around the iPhone like a “protective skin.” Once snugged into the shells, users can watch 3D content without wearing any kind of converting eyewear, blue/green or otherwise.

“We’re really excited to be working with Spatial View to provide our customers with a new dimension in porn, so to speak,” product manager Kim Kysar assured AFP.

While the idea of 3D porn has its charms, experience with old fashioned cardboard and colored plastic glasses have left generations disappointed and frustrated; two experiences at odds with the goals of erotic content.

Kysar promises iPhone and porn lovers that “This isn’t like the cheesy, 1970s 3D viewing experience that a lot of us grew up with; this is cutting edge stuff. The best part is that there’s no need to wear those awful glasses.”

Instead, star gazers need only look through the window in the shell and, like magic, the world appears in three dimensions!

Jason King, vice president of marketing for Spatial View doesn’t think anything of introducing his company’s product to the more naked end of the entertainment industry.

“The adult entertainment industry has been historically at the forefront of adopting and monetizing new technologies,” he observes.

More important to fans of the new genre is where it will lead. According to King, the future of 3D iPhone entertainment is bright.

“In the coming months,” he promises, “we will see a significant increase in 3D mobile content availability, both adult and mainstream, for viewing on the 3DeeShell.
