LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The 2025 Trans Erotica Awards (TEAs) has officially opened its pre-nomination period, which runs through November 15, 2024. Pre-nominations can be submitted now at theTEAShow.com.
“Our pre-nomination process is an opportunity for performers and their fans to make their voices heard,” said TEA Executive Producer, Kristel Penn. “We accept pre-nomination submissions from studios directly and our voting process allows us to cast a wider net to ensure performers can put forth their best work to be included.”
In the announcement, the TEAs explained that to submit a qualifying pre-nomination for best scene and DVD categories, “content must be shot between November 1, 2023, and October 31, 2024.” For the TEA’s performer categories, nominated performers “must have appeared on a major website/DVD/release during the same eligibility period.”
The Trans Erotica Awards was conceived by Grooby, first as an online competition, and later expanded to an in-person event held in Hollywood. The two-day event now “proudly welcomes industry guests and stars from all over the world.”
The 2025 TEAs will be hosted on March 7 and 9, 2025, at the historic Avalon theater and its connecting property, the Bardot, in Hollywood, California. The two-night event includes the Official Pre-Party on March 7, 2025, and the Awards program on March 9. According to the pre-nomination announcement, entertainment for the event “will be announced in the coming months.”
