LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The pre-nomination period for the 2024 Trans Erotica Awards (TEAs) has officially opened, running through November 15, 2023. Pre-nominations can now be submitted via an online form available on TheTEAShow.com.
“As always, our pre-nomination process is an opportunity to make your voice heard,” said TEA Executive Producer, Kristel Penn. “Who deserves the coveted Best Performer categories? Who produced the Best Scenes and DVDs? We are encouraging our industry and verified fans to submit their picks for review.”
For content to be eligible for a qualifying pre-nomination in the best scene and DVD categories, the content must have been shot between November 1, 2022, and October 31, 2023. For performer categories, nominated performers must have appeared on a major website/DVD/release during the same eligibility period.

The pre-nomination period is the beginning of the TEA nomination process. Pre-nominations are then pared down and “used to compile a list of nominations, and then sent to the judges for review,” according to the pre-nomination page on the TEA website. Users should only submit their pre-nominations once, as “spamming will be frowned upon and not counted towards the possibility of nomination.”
You do not need to complete the entire form to submit a pre-nomination.
The 2024 TEAs will take place March 8-10, 2024, at the Avalon in Hollywood, CA, with the Pre-Party on Friday night and the Awards Program on Sunday night.
According to the announcement from the TEAs, more information about the event “will be announced in the weeks to come.”
