This past weekend, The Phoenix Forum (TPF) held their first VOYEUR Community Awards, an “original show focused on friends, family, talent and community.” Winners were announced from a series of “communities” within the industry — Cams, LGBTQ, Video, Broadcast/Fan, Biz Tech and Dating.
The awards were presented in an interesting “center stage” configuration, with the TPF crew moving about the ballroom soliciting audience participation for awards announcements.
Every nominee had been selected by the public in open nominations, and the top nominees were then voted on by a group of industry leaders from every corner of the business — The Academy of Voters. The top five finalists were then selected from the top five vote-getters from the Academy. One winner for each category was then announced.
