YNOT – Epoch was named Company of the Year and Miranda Leaver of Men4SexNow.com was named Business Person of the Year during the 10th Annual Cybersocket Web Awards. The gala ceremony took place at Eleven Restaurant and Nightclub in West Hollywood, Calif., with trophy studs Cody Cummings, Tommy D, Mason Wyler and Rod Daily presenting awards to winners in 38 categories determined by surfers and industry insiders.“It was a night to remember, and Club Eleven in West Hollywood was jam-packed with the gay porn industry’s most important movers and shakers,” Cybersocket co-founder Morgan Sommer said in a prepared statement. “After a stunning performance by aerial artists Benn Mendoza and Alex Stable, event emcees Chi Chi LaRue and Jason Sechrest announced the winners. Chi Chi then served as DJ and kept the energy level flying high at an after-party lasting until the wee hours.”

According to Cybersocket, each year the awards honor “companies and individuals that have made the year’s most important contributions to the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender internet community. By honoring these individuals and companies, we acknowledge their work as innovators in queer media and encourage them to continue as technological entrepreneurs, advocates for free speech and agents of cultural change.”
