AKRON, OH -- Nino Ramos was just another teen cock tease and underage drinker before she met the Girls Gone Wild film crew during their brief September visit to Akron, OH. Today she's one of the few alleged rape victims willing to have her name appear in the press.
Ramos and her mother have decided to go public about the events they claim happened in the Girls Gone Wild motor coach on the evening of September 14th, 2006.
The 17-year-old girl admits to having gone to downtown hot spot Mango's Nightclub and danced naked on the bar while getting drunk while the Girls Gone Wild video team caught the moment for posterity, but points out that "My behavior that night does not condone or give somebody the right to do what they did."
As the Ramos tell it, "what they did" includes raping the not-yet-legal teen once she was inside the motor coach and drunkenly flirting with the camera.
Although police arrested the clubs event coordinator, as well as its owner -- whom the Ramos vow they will sue along with Girls Gone Wild -- nothing has been done to the cameraman that the Summit County teen insists raped her once her underage shoot was complete. This is something that the Ramos believe should be addressed immediately.
"I feel that they're ignoring the real criminal here and focusing on the easy case," the younger Ramos explains, referring to charges that Edmond Jaber and Holly Everson engaged in child endangerment and served alcohol to a minor the night of the incident.
According to authorities, there's not a lot that they can do since there is very little physical evidence to work with, in part due to the fact Ramos did not report the crime until four days after it is alleged to have happened.
Girls Gone Wild owner Joe Francis, who has had more than his share of legal problems during the past year, has remained silent on the issue, although one of his attorney's insists that it is against company policy for independent contractors to break the law.
