Adult Traffic - Really? |

Hi all - Ive been in affiliate marketing for about 18months now, and have started an adult website about 6 months back. I havent done much link building or promoting but I have noticed with targeted traffic the income is great. However I am only able to obtain 20 visits per day targeted, and Im not sure where to get more of this targeted traffic.
Im in the process of trying Paid traffic, spent $100 got 10,000 visits from traffic-out and tafficholder. So far they have sent 5,000 visits though typically the bounce rate has now raised from 25% to 75% with average time on site going from 3.50 to <1 min.
I have made my money back from obtaining $100 sale within the first day of advertising however the last 6 days have seen 0 sign ups and 0 sales.
I have done a few link exchanges (about 10) with some reasonable sites, the best is naughty they have sent a good amount of traffic and cumdrop also.
Anyway - My main question here is what, where and how are the best places to get traffic.
- I dont mind paying but want a ROI.
- Would also like to hear the best places to submit link (link trade) and if anyone would share where I could find hard links?
- My site is article based so gallery submissions isnt really a option, is there any adult blogs (stories) that are a good traffic source?
My site is all about webcam girls.

This was going to be my next bet, well I have added 2 sites to my wish lists as there are no ad spots available for those sites - hoping to get them soon.
And yes it must be blind traffic, im getting massive traffic, great click through rates but it all stops there only 1 sale 
Ill wait another week for the site s Im after if not, I may try a generic campaign with you guys.

Hi Scrotus,
I'm finding your thread here a bit confusing. In your OP you state that the blind traffic has changed your bounce rate form around 25% to 75 odd and is not delivering the goods. Yet in your last post (quoted) you say"it must be blind traffic" - not 'targeted traffic'.
I'm not quite understanding your strategy here.

- I meant that the traffic which I paid for from traffic holder must be blind traffic - which is Not what I want. Before I paid for this traffic I was only getting targeted traffic from links on other sites and some other ads. Although im still getting that traffic my sales have only gone up by 1 and I just paid for 10,000 visits.
So with the increase in traffic, I have had a increase in bounce rate to 75 per cent - which is not what I want either.
The best refferal site - which is an ad on a forum has visitors staying on my site for average 7 min, yet this paid traffic they only hang around for 18-30 secs.....
