age check on adult websites and TGPs |
 |
 |
Is an age check landing page legally required for all sites that contain adult content?
Most original content sites verify age. The majority of TGPs do not. Why is this?

It's just good business sense to "cover your ass" so to speak.

There is no legal requirement to have a warning page... it's a matter of what you're comfortable with; a warning page does put an extra click between your visitors and the content, which is bad, but it also gives you a great page for SEO purposes.

It's also a good place to put a non-explicit HPA or FPA. I make a few sales each month from the one I have on this page http://www.well-heeled-women.com/index.php |
Excellent idea... and may I say, nice work on your TGP template too. That's a very nice looking site.
