CCBill tax troubles |

Hi,
In order to avoid (unnecessarily) paying VAT on CCBill revenues, our company needs the taxid of our payment processor, CCBill (EU regulation... kind of). I have written a few e-mails to CCBill, but got no answer.. they are "looking into the problem". (Just how hard can it be to know their own taxid??)
If any of you guys happen to know these numbers, please let me know! I need the EU-VAT-ID (they are operating in Gibraltar so they must have one), and also the EIN (for their USA branch).

Hi, these are not numbers that we provide to our clients. Concerning VAT, in most cases our EU clients request how many transactions were made from certain countries/regions which they can provide to their accountants. We would certianly be able to help gather this information for you. Feel free to contact me if I can help... paulk@ ccbill.com

Current (as of 2010) Hungarian tax regulations does not allow Hungarian companies to accept payment from a foreign company without having their tax id. This was in effect previously for tangible goods, but now it applies for services as well. So technically we can either A) get your tax id from you B) get your tax id from the authorities C) incorporate off-shore D) contract another provider. I still think A would be the most painless
