Haha it's just taken me what felt like forever just to work out how to make a post, totally missed the 'make topic' button, oops!
Anyway!
So I have a site, but I don't know where to advertise it, or how to advertise it. I've had it for about 3 years now, but only had it for a bit of fun really, I didn't try and make much from it. But now it'd be nice to have people other than me on the site, haha! I think I might be making it sound worse than it is!
I get like 1 member a week if I'm lucky, but it'd be nice to get 2 a week instead.
I don't want millions of members or anything, just a few more would be nice!
At the moment the only advertising I do is posting a few pictures in a forum, and on livejournal communities.
I don't actually know how I get the current members I have, coz I really don't advertise it at all!
So yeah, any help would be awesome!
I can't really afford to spend money, the reason I want more members is to help get me out of debt, and I wouldn't want to risk spending money and still not getting any new members!
Sorry this is so long, I have ramblyitus.  I try and make short posts and always end up posting essays!
Basically, does anyone know of any free sites where I can advertise my site, to help me get 1 extra member each week?

I'm going to browse the rest of the forum now, and probably find my answer, and then get shouted at for asking something that's been asked before, oops.

Hi LSG and welcome.
One of the basic ways to get additional traffic is to trade links with other webmasters - do you have a links page up in the public area of your site? Ideally you trade with folks who deal in similar content/genres.
Also, submit to review sites. These usually require a reciprocal link too, but if you get a decent write-up you're going to get a high ratio of interested surfers heading your way. Even a mediocre review can help drive traffic. There's often a delay anywhere from a couple weeks to months as they're sometimes inundated with requests, so I'd advise making that a priority.
I could go on, there are many ways to get 'free' traffic to your site depending on how much time and/or creativity you want to invest, but targeted link trades are a good start.
You can also find some very affordable spots via adult ad brokers like JuicyAds.

Hello! Thank you for the welcome!
Do I need a banner for that? I don't have one, and can't make one, and can't afford to buy one! I only have paint on my laptop and I wouldn't have a clue what I was doing!
I do have a links page though!
How would I find people with similar content and stuff though?
I'm not sure if I would get a decent write up, I have over 50,000 pictures and 170 videos on my site, but the quality isn't that great because I only have 10gb storage space stuffies! So I'd probably get like 1 out of 1000000! If I'm lucky!
But right, pictures in super high quality, you can see EVERYTHING. Like, I didn't notice til I looked at them that I missed a few pubes when shaving. Do people really like to see every teeny weeny hair in my crack?!
I was just going by, as long as you can see the important bits, and the pictures are clear, it's okay. But I'm probably 1000% wrong!
I do have a lot of spare time... All the time that I'm awake, I'm online, and I even miss out on sleep where I'm online so much! I don't have a 'real life'.
And I take lots of pictures all the time(of myself) so don't mind posting lots for free if it'd help me... although my pictures are probably crap so maybe that wouldn't help!

Why don't you start by posting your URL so we can give you some feedback-I'm a content guy maybe I can help you with that.
You CAN make a banner in paint-making the banner is very simple-making the html for it is what takes a bit of knowledge but there are free html programs that will make that simple too.

If your not leggy and shy-don't read this!
by the way-look up the word "torrent" in a search engine. Then download the free torrent client software. It's not difficult to use. Then search "photoshop torrents" and you can steal a working copy. If you have 50,000 pics and none have been photoshoped -you do have a real problem. Don't tell anyone I told you to steal software-you other guys I told you- divert your eyes!!!

GIMP is an open-source (which in part means "free") image editing app, it can do the job for retouching photos and putting together banner ads, etc.

Banners are a good idea, but you can just use text links instead...

Do you think, if I lowered my price, I could get away with not editing my pictures/my pictures and videos not being the most amazing quality in the world? And then would that look better for review sites?

Not that long ago when film was the media, there were at least 2 steps-shooting and processing. That hasn't changed just because the media became digital. The only thing really wrong with the pics on your forum quality wise-you haven't finished the job by processing them.
It is a serious error to believe quantity will make up for quality. That only works with money.
Pride in your wok will set you apart from competition and will bring sign ups.
When I shoot a set of solo pics for a client, I may shoot 200 pics. But I only deliver 75-100 depending on the client. Choosing the best of each pose and having a small story line-which is usually stripping and masturbating-gives the set a greater visual and psychological impact. Multiples of similar poses can become boring while someone is looking for the 3 pics they'll use to get off on. The set as a whole is what's doing the turning on.
5,000 processed and edited pics can have a much bigger impact and improve the quality of the site as a whole, versus 50,000 questionable pics that look a lot alike.
Then consider this:
"(Some pictures on my site ARN'T blurry, but I want to save the clear pictures for my members only!)"
Think about things as a consumer-would you pay money to buy something the manufacturer is telling you isn't that great?
Furthermore-the number one rule for solo girls pics is: EYE CONTACT! Making a direct connection comes from eye contact. I would guess your hiding your identity on your tour-do you show your face inside? If so you really must say so on the tour.
The right pic of just a face with eye contact is better for getting off on then 100,000 pics of body parts. Making that personal connection is what counts-if guys want to get to know you-as their own, they'll pay. Give them that reason.
Further-furthermore: Do you like friends that are always negative? Don't you stop communicating with them and try to find people that make you feel good? Read your diary. Who are you? I want to come back and communicate with people that leave me feeling good. Is that how people feel reading your diary?

I don't want to sound rude, but I don't want to change the way I am, just to get members. I'd rather have no members and be myself.
I don't believe in editing pictures, I'd rather people see the real me - imperfections and all.
Obviously what I do isn't THAT bad, because I do still get members.
I show my face in most pictures, but not eye contact because I'm so shy. I don't like to show it in free places incase people where I live reconise me, because it's an area where everyone would know about it and make my life hell if they found out.
I came on here to ask for help advertising, coz I don't currently advertise it. Not to be told I have to change everything I do!
I'm not a proffesional. Most my pictures are taken by myself. I don't want millions of members. I'd just like to know of some places to advertise it.
If I wanted to have millions of members, then maybe I'd buy more space so I can have higher quality pictures.
But at the moment, people seeing every stray hair on my crack isn't my highest priority!
I do appreciate the help, but that's not really what I need help with!
I read some other peoples threads here the other day, and I've followed some tips from them. Like, I've found my old myspace profile and will start using that again, and find more sites like that to join.
I've also took the advice about banners. I'm going to see if people will make me banners in return for videos, so I don't have to pay for them, haha. *tightarse* And then I'll try and find people to swap banners with.
I don't want to change my site, change the way I am, change who I am, change my pictures or anything else. I'm happy with that.
I'd just like to advertise it more instead of being so lazy and not advertising it at all like at the moment.
Yeah when I advertise it more, people might not join coz my sites crap, my pics are crap, I'm crap... but at least I'll have made the effort!!
