Hi guys,
We are on the process of installing an affiliate platform for CandyCrib.com. It is a niche web with real girls next door and by no means hardcore. Does anyone know of any similar networks with high traffic we could utilise?

Non harcore traffic trades are always welcome here at CandyCrib. I think my main question was how to find a bunch of cool webmasters to sign up for our new affiliate scheme (when all development is finished etc)

I have found it helpful to look around the boards and then contact webmasters who run similar sites and chat with them one on one to see if they will promote

The ingredients are pretty simple when you boil it all down.
1. Quality site(s) that convert and retain.
2. Affiliate tools that are effective, easy to use and updated regularly.
3. If you have both of the above in place, a few well placed announcements will get the ball rolling, word of mouth will take care of the rest.
You only get one chance to impress an affiliate. Launching your affiliate program before you've tested with your own traffic to make sure the site converts and retains is a recipe for failure. You should be your own #1 affiliate.
Affiliate tools can be pretty basic, if they're well done, well organized, and don't make the affiliate jump through hoops to use them. They should also be behind a pass protected area only affiliates can get access to.
A small number of new hosted galleries, etc. monthly is far better than a big bunch two or three times per year. Keep things fresh or affilates will forget about you.
This biz isn't rocket science, but you do have to work it to make it go. You can't just put up a site and sit back a wait for the money to come rolling in. Those days are long gone.
