New Site, Opinions Wanted |

We have been working on our site for a while and think we have it to a point where feedback would help. The free side of the site is working, next is the membership piece. Advice, coaching, ideas or criticism wanted!

Some of the color contrasts just aren't working. Blue link text on purple background.. several places.
Also try to keep your site opening in the same tab/window/frame until you actually load a single image. Those are ok to pop open in their own tab.
That's about all i have as is.

I think it needs a little it more info, when I had a look around it was not immediately obvious to me what sort of site it was (pay, free, I even wondered is this an escort site at one point), also perhaps a little bit more "temptation" to me it feels a little cold and empty. Just a personal thought.

I would consider going with a professional design and more up to date Web 2.0 elements.
No offense, but the site is about 10 years out of date as far as design, features and functions.
No big deal if this is a hobby for you, but if you want to make money online, nothing less than a professional website will suffice.

I would definatley agree. If you need help with a design. let me know. I work with some who does great blog designs. I am assuming you are doing a blog. Hit me up on icq or email.
As well im not to keen on the purple. You need to tell the model that you have to put aside personal feelings for a design and go with what the surfer can handle looking at.

Thanks to all of you for your advice! We have re-tooled and re-re-re-redesigned the site.
Then we were hacked and re-redesigned with a view toward security.
So, with that being said, may we impose upon you all to check out the site and give your honest feedback...again??

I like the front page. The wildcat must be happy with the dark purples. Good job of text coloring to make it easily readable.
The joomla area looks ok too. Are there no videos in the theater section? If there are, they are not displaying. And dam, I was kind excited about checking out the pizza delivery girl one..
One thing I would change is your custodian of records statement. Your supposed to put the name of the custodian (although some say the title works) and the physical location of the records. IE the address. An email address is non-compliant.
When it goes live be sure it's the way they want it. Suggest you use a graphic instead of text for the address. Spiders don't see graphics.

Your 2257 compliance statement doesn't contain the physical address of where your records are stored. You can't just put an email address to use if they want to inspect you. You need to list your address (no PO Boxes either). I recommend getting in touch with an industry attorney to get this right as it is very important legally.

if u can get someone to care about your content, models, or you, the design doesn't matter.
take the advice of most people who consider themselves in the porn industry with a grain of salt. a majority of the trolls on the adult boards aren't site owners or marketers.
your design is actually pretty good. at least good enough for porn. i'd be more concerned with your production quality.
a bed is a much better set than a model in front of a hanging sheet. there's about a million places to shoot that would be more interesting.
the idea is to trigger a fantasy. that's why people buy porn -- not design. or web 3.0 whatever the heck that is.

You have to understand that the site design as it sits now is not the same site that existed back in October.Before you comment negatively on a persons reply you should check the dates to see that your not stepping on your own dick.
The design is pretty good now, or at least good enough for porn BECAUSE three months ago kevlar came and asked for a site review. And at the time the site had some issues. I remember it and this production is an improvement over the past one. Which I'm assuming you never saw.
Perhaps in a future thread kevlar will ask for a review of his content.
