The country also has the lowest unemployment rate within the European Union, and according to UNICEF, it is the best place in the world to raise children.

content/attachments/14526-eurobilling-jpg.html YNOT – One of the foundations of a successful e-commerce profit model centers on the impulse purchase. For many years, the ability to join a site or purchase on a whim has required a credit card. While this model has worked quite well in North America and elsewhere around the world, either alone or combined with a recurring membership or subscription, converting impulsive European shoppers remains a challenge. Online credit card usage in Europe lags behind adoption in other regions because of differing cultural views on debt and credit use.

Credit card billing in Europe certainly ...

content/attachments/12740-moneysqueeze-jpg.html YNOT – The online adult space is as competitive now as it has ever been. Over and above millions of websites out there, surfers have a virtually limitless supply of free material at their disposal thanks to all those tubes and torrents. Looks like the internet is still for porn, especially in the new free economy.

But all is not lost: Whilst the classic vanilla porn pay site may have had its day, there remain a plethora of products for which surfers are prepared to pay. Be it a niche site with hard-to-find content, an immersive 3D world or dating and cam sites whose end-user experience cannot be replicated on the tubes or elsewhere, sex still sells.

When it comes to turning bytes into bucks, the credit card understandably remains the most popular billing mechanism ...

Article Preview The Republic of Finland, situated in the Scandinavian portion of Northern Europe, was recently rated the best country to live in by Reader’s Digest.Bordered by Sweden, Russia and Norway, Finland has a population of about 5.3 million people, and yet covers an area of some 130,000 square miles making it the least densely populated country in the European Union.

Article Preview When Tim Berners-Lee did us of all a huge favor by inventing the World Wide Web, the name it was given said it all – it was and remains the world’s first truly <i>global</i> medium. And given the open architecture and non centralist nature of the underlying internet, it looks like it’s going to remain with us for some time to come. The party has only just begun. However, upon surfing the Web, you might be forgiven for thinking that the Web was only for English speakers. Given the fact that all websites have ...

Article Preview What a difference a decade makes! Germany, once perceived as having one of the most tolerant attitudes to porn, is now one of the most regulated markets. Anyone wishing to sell into Europe’s largest market must now adhere to the rules as laid down by the government. Your tours must be ‘FSK16’ – softcore – and your members area cannot be accessed without an AVS. Once inside, anything goes – apart from the obvious, such as bestiality or child porn. This is mirrored in the offline world. Sex shops are commonplace in Germany’s High Streets and, unlike their Dutch counterparts, are fairly inoffensive from the outside. Admission ...
