But there is some do's and don'ts for sure.

We've created a number of FB "pages" using different key words as titles, all of which surround the military theme, so we can make ourselves findable under a number of different searchable terms.

In our About section we put a brief intro as well as our website url, so its viewable even when they have not selected the about page, on the main page there is a brief amount of text allowed to shows under the about, so we make sure the url shows up there.

We've added a page banner that gives the website name as well as an arrow pointing to the LIKE button, maximizing the chances of them liking our page.

We add a few pictures or picture albums each day and sometime put in a link in the description and sometimes we dont. The posts that have urls in them are not made viewable to as many people probably to minimize advertising type posts, but they are shown to all your most recent people who have visited the page ect. So mix it up, do some with urls some without. But we always use watermarked pictures so they can see the domain anyway.

Every couple of days we delete the old posts and albums so the page is not saturated with content. We want them coming to the site, not only to the page. So we use it really as a rotating advertisment in a way.

When you have FB pages, you can surf FB as the PAGE, not as you the user, so when you like something on someones page or profile it leaves it as a clickable link to your page, not as you the user.

Also share other pages pictures and posts, when you share something it leaves your page title and link back on that content as well, as a sharer, this generates traffic from their page to yours and its not spammy because your actually helping there page by sharing the content giving a link to their page from yours, kinda forced link trading really.

This info is a great starting point of info for someone who has not used facebook at all for their marketing, Id recommend trying it and once the pages are built just login and post a few times a day. It will build kinda slow in the beginning but once you have lots of likes its an easy fast free way to market your sites.

Oh and BTW, dont post nudity EVER, all your hard work can be deleted in a heart beat from just one post or report. Its not worth it, trust me. I tried it and had to start from scratch.

The things I needed to learn then almost 9 years ago I... Since my wife and I started in this industry learning the ins and outs, allot has changed. The things I needed to learn then almost 9 years ago I think now, are totally different then the things new comers need to learn today! Let's start with what I think I know and if you have a different view please share it with us as well, as everyone tackles things a bit different and learning new little tricks everyday I think is the key to success.

1.) Social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and many others are absolutly key to reducing your marketing budget and in most cases the traffic generated from these sources are much higher quality with a higher chance that they will convert into a sale and later upsale.
2.) SEO and Google Analytics can not be ignored, because guess what, someone else in your niche is not ignoring it. Thus the more effort will equal more sales.
3.) Marketing through the right company with the right settings and budget will bring you results if your site is properly set up to convert and make someone see the value in joining. If your site cant convert after doing some marketing, save your money and stop margeting until you figure out and change what needs to be changed so it will convert. The try again, still not converting? Continue changing things until it does. Changing to much at one time makes it hard to figure out what you did and didnt do that made a differance.
4.) Make sure your shit is legal. That simple.
5.) Networking and talking to others in the industry is very important. This is my down fall because Im always so busy working and tweaking my sites I dont take the time to get out here and get to know others in the industry, and lets face it, finding someone around you in your life that knows and understands this business is rare, for me anyways. So interacting with others can greatly reduce your learning curve in issues that are not your strength. 6.) Having a GREAT server company with GREAT support can make all the differance in the world, my server company Way3 has literally saved me thousands of dollars and hours and hours of heart ache by supporting me as issues come up with, well you name it! Anyone looking for a server company contact Chris there at Way3 and tell him I sent you his way, I know his staff and him will without question resolve your issues and at a damn good price.
7.) Whitelabels are something I avoided for along time, I just didnt think they would work, but what Ive come to believe is why spend thousands of dolalrs developing a site just to struggle for years getting it full of performers that will actually get online, if you decide to go that route, good luck but be ready to either take forever for it to grow or spend thousands to get it grow. I decided to give Video Secrets a try and boy am I glad I did. At first the live video ads started getting free sign up members, but once it grew for just a few months I started getting people sign up who bought, and bought and bought again. My highest monthly check from them so far was over $7000.00, yes that was 1 month. And I didnt have to send performers checks, I didnt have to deal with server issues or anything, really just posted the ads and sent them to my whitelabel. BAM sales have been rolling in ever since. So skip creating a cam site and build a feeder site to an affiliate like Video Secrets.
8.) Running blogs can greatly impact your main sites ranks on search engines. I know at my server company Way3 you can easily click the software button for a domain and it automatically loads Wordpress and your ready to start blogging within minutes. Start a few, as many as you can about the niche of your main sites and blog about topics and link key words your want to show up in search engines back to your site. Do enough of this over time and you alone can help your main sites grow on search engines, not to mentio the traffic your sites get from you blogs. Plus you can do traffic trades via your blogs so your main sites arent bogged down with a bunch of links off your site, once they get to your converting site, you dont want them clicking off somewhere to a traffic trade. Keep in mind some of your high quality trades are ok and probably worth having on there if they bring in enough and high enough traffic that makes you money.
9.) Hits, likes, trades, free members and followers mean nothing. Sales are everything, after all thats what your doing all this work for right. If your not making money none of the other stuff makes you successful. Dont get caught up in search ranks, monthly traffic or amount of trades you have, get caught up in how many sales you have and how many cancels you have.
10.) Haters are everywhere, if someone hits up your twitter, facebook or other socail media site with hateful comments, dont question yourself. Ban them and move forward with your goals! Getting caught up fighting with people online is NOT going to make you money, it just wastes your time.

Well there's a brief 10. Theres so much more and even these are only touched on very briefly, but its kinda what I think. Not to say Im even right, but it's how I see things. really could be right or wrong, but these are things Ive come to learn over the years. Everyone's personality is different and every niche is different, keep in mind we are all different, but learning and knowing what others have found can be helpful.

Things I need to learn about is simple. I need to know how to do everything above better. I need to constantly tweak my sites to make them close better, pop on search engines better and I need to find other people and companys to work with to assit them and me in the end. While developing the site I noticed that I could enable the ability for member to customize their profile page to include moving the different blocks around as well as adding custom html blocks as well.

I'm not sure how many sites are out there that also offer this same thing, but Id love to know of any if not all of them, because I see this as probably the most effective way of getting targeted traffic to amateur sites or sites of a certain niche.

Simply set up profiles that meet that niche! upload pictures/videos and bio that meets the niche your advertising to, then add your html blocks with banners linking to your sites.

Seems to me the people who visit your profile are probably lovers of that avatar, pic or video you shared that made them come visit your profile.

Id love to know about anyone else thats running sites that have this ability or anyone who are using others sites like this in their marketing stratagy? How has it worked for you? What have you found to work or not work in this type of marketing?

We are not professionals in the business or in marketing or traffic generation, however with just an exclusive niche and content we're lucky the site is doing extremely well in making money.

we feel that there is an enormous potential here for making much much more money for ourselves and our users or possible affiliates.

We now we need more content and are working hard to set up shoots with local models to do so, but again no experience in doing this so there's a learning curve in finding models willing to do what we're looking for, which is a little more hardcore stuff beyond self shots nude.

Also we need a good quality traffic generation plan other then paying ad rite, google and juicy ads every month. Trades I know right, is there any way to do that outside of emailing a million site web masters? Or signing up for a million gallery sites trade page in the hopes they turn the button on to start sending traffic?

I'll gladly be retiring from the military in a few years and hope I can resolve all these issues and send my sites into a status I can live on.

5k a month isn't to bad, but I'm thinking if it's doing that and I don't know what I'm doing, imagine if I made some good choices here and tweaked it to make it's potential?
