    hey..i was wondering if anyone knew the script to do a image gallery where you use a mouseover to view the thumbnail image larger in a cell within the table on the same page. Thanks =)

    It's called a disjointed rollover... is this comprehensible...

    the script:
    Code:
    imgNormal = new Image(); imgNormal.src = "path_to_mouseout_graphic";
    imgOver1 = new Image(); imgOver1.src = "path";
    imgOver2 = new Image(); imgOver2.src = "another_path";

    function swapIt(newOne)
    {
         target = document.getElementById('target');
         if( newOne != false )
         {
              target.src = newOne.src;
         }
         else
         {
              target.src = imgNormal.src;
         }
    }

    the html...

    Code:
    <img id="target" whatever else%gt;

    [img]your first thumbnail[/img]

    [img]your second thumbnail[/img]

    If I'm understanding you right I used a quick little bit of
    JavaScript for that on this page:
    http://www.adult-webmasters-union.co...ID=148&first=1
    You can view course and copy and paste my javascript
    if that's what you're looking for.
    Note that my thumbs aren't in a table and I didn't adjust the
    margins to compensate for the size change, so enlarging one
    thumb moves the others around. To avoid that effect just
    reduce the margins as you enlarge the thumb in the javascript function.

    thanks guys..the kind of rollover effect im thinking of is that I have 2 columns with a couple of small thumbnail images and a larger cell that will hold the larger image when you rollover the thumbnail...Ill try out both your scripts and let ya know the outcome...thank ya again..=)

    it's a common thing - called a "disjointed rollover"

    let me know if you have any problems with the code i suggested, I just typed it straight into this board without checking for stupid syntax / spelling / etc. mistakes. But it gives you the right idea how to do it.
